I'm a third-year PhD student in Human-Centered Computing at the University of Utah. My research focuses on sociotechnical systems, particularly how technology, institutions, and human values intersect in high-stakes contexts. I study how affected communities engage with complex technical and policy infrastructures on online platforms, and explore how these systems can be redesigned to better support meaningful participation and collective decision-making. Using qualitative and computational methods, I work to understand and reimagine how expertise, lived experience, and power are negotiated in contemporary digital environments.
Outside of research, I love reading, painting, and everything snow-related—especially snow sports!
